Aceil Ankir is a Registered Psychology Associate and doctoral candidate in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles Campus. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.
Aceil provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, grief, neurodevelopmental disorders, and life transitions. Her clinical experience includes work in schools, community mental health settings, residential treatment programs, and shelter-based services.

She specializes in comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations, including assessments for autism spectrum disorder and related developmental conditions. Aceil is trained and certified in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), and has experience conducting diagnostic evaluations to support treatment planning, educational services, and clinical decision-making.
Aceil utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporates trauma-informed interventions when clinically appropriate. She also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to help clients develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change.
